How it Works

After completion of their eighteen holes, all golfers are asked to assemble behind the chosen green to enjoy a beverage and to cheer on their favorites as they compete for two great prizes.

Teeing Ground: As marked on the chosen fairway.

Qualifying Participants: 12 amateur golfers will be selected based on measured closest to the pin to be set up on the driving range. Every amateur golfer in the Charity Golf Classic will be given the opportunity to take a qualifying shot at a target as they pass between ninth green and tenth tee. The 12 closest to the target will participate in the SHOOTOUT. Participants will be announced at the chosen green.

Order of Play: Order of play will be determined by a random draw. Participants not present for the random draw will be disqualified. Participants will hit identical golf balls (to be provided) from the Teeing Ground.

Results: Prizes will be awarded for a hole-in-one and/or for the closest to the pin (KP) on the participant's first shot. If there is more than one hole-in-one, the successful golfers will go back to the Teeing Ground and hit again. The closest to the pin or another hole-in-one will be the winner of the hole-in-one-prize. The second closest to the pin will win the KP prize. The KP prize will be determined by measurement. If two or more golfers are absolutely tied they will return to the Teeing Ground and hit again until a clear winner is determined.

Conditions: By participating in the Shoot-Out, golfers agree to abide by the rules stated above and the decisions of the Organizing Committee whose decisions are final.
